Individuals at this technical level will have or be capable of supporting technical initiatives within a larger technical project through technical assessment, standards, certification planning and execution of infrastructure and services that use network and system technologies. This position will provide lab support in testing of Broadband Gateways and related systems.
The candidate is expected to work with many subject matter experts who are focused in specific technologies. Assignments include lab operations support, test plan execution and development of test scripts. A strong understanding of automation using scripting languages is preferred. Additional responsibilities will include building test beds, establishing performance benchmarks with demonstrable and repeatable results, and executing complex use cases with variable parameters
including normative, overload and impairment scenarios in execution.
This position generally requires supervision and guidance. This position normally works on current technologies and platforms of limited scope. Their contribution shall be primarily internal to the company. They can be recognized as a technical team member on projects or in technical initiatives. Additional Responsibilities
This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
